This is tough. The transition for upperclassmen would be very difficult. I think if it did fall through it should be introduced starting with C team, then C team and JV the following year, and so on.

If a class is a college credit then it should be weighted. Art classes that are worth college credits have the right to be weighted just as much as a math class with college credit. Let's compare two classes in the same department- An art class with college credit vs. an art class that doesn't have college credits. What class should be worth more?
This would be a good incentive for students to push themselves and take harder classes. Kids who take College Chemistry work much harder for an A than those who receive an A in Art.
